I am an experienced Geography teacher with we a detailed knowledge of the major exam specifications at GCSE and A-Level and have worked as an examiner for both the AQA and Eduqas examination boards. I have been teaching Geography full time since 2006 in an outstanding school and have a track record of outstanding results for students of all abilities.
I specialise in supporting students at GCSE and A Level with exam technique, revision of case studies, structuring essays and NEA guidance.
I am a passionate Geographer and enjoy sharing my love for the subject and supporting students through their examinations. I am also keen to encourage their enjoyment of geography and believe that the route to excellence is through really engaging with a subject.
I deliver structured, enjoyable lessons which incorporate interactive technology and contemporary case-studies tailored to each student`s needs.
I understand the assessment criteria needed to achieve top grades including the qualities that a student needs for entry to Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities.
Away from work I am kept busy by a young family, running and cycling and I am an avid rugby fan. Please get in touch if you would like to know more.
