I am a British native speaking teacher with eight years experience in teaching English to speakers of other languages.
I also have an MA in Ancient History with Archaeology from the University of Edinburgh. I offer tutoring in History and Classics from beginner to A-level. My teaching is a blend of bringing the subject alive and practical work to help you train in understanding sourcing and theoretical issues.
Availability: I am available weekdays from 9am-8pm although evenings are the busiest time for me. I can come to your home or office which helps to ease your schedule.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I began teaching English in a private academy in Spain and then moved on to open my own school in Romania. Learning Spanish and then Romanian was an eye opening experience as a teacher and helped me to understand the difficulties of learning a language first-hand.
During this time I also tutored History and Classics privately for students in international schools.
