Hi there,

I am a fully qualified English teacher (with QTS), looking to tutor students from Primary age and KS3 through to A level in English (literature for A-level). I have also applied for and successfully been accepted as an AQA examiner and so specialise in AQA GCSE tutoring jobs.

I have 8 years of tutoring experience and am very friendly, hard-working and organised. I believe in fun, interactive modes of learning, as well as more formal teaching, focused on exam technique. I will provide tutees with homework to consolidate learning on a weekly basis and am also competent in advising on revision, UCAS applications and personal statements, having just recently undergone the latter within the last couple of years.

Availability: I work mostly online, am available on weekends with more flexibility, and am also available during school holidays.

Experience: I have worked as a tutor in Kumon (a maths and English tuition centre) since I was 15 years old and continued private tutoring after that. I thereby gained experience in communicating with children of various age groups at an early age.

I am now a fully qualified English teacher with QTS and have taught children from the ages of 11-18 at my job. Moving onto a Middle school teaching role now, I will also be professionally teaching year 5-6 students as well as secondary.
