With the right support, I believe that anyone can achieve their full potential at Spanish. Core to my approach is helping students optimise their revision approach, a solid understanding of the whole syllabus, and I am keen to bridge any gaps in learning as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

I am a fun and patient qualified Spanish teacher. I hold a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages from the University of Oxford, I have a First Class MA in Education from Brunel University London and I am a member of the British Educational Leadership, Management and Administration society.

As a native Spanish speaker and having worked in State Secondary Schools, my experience ranges from teaching complete beginners to advanced students (KS3-KS5). I am familiar with the new AQA A-level Spanish specification and I have worked with a number of students taking this exam, who have achieved outstanding results. I am trained to teach the film Volver by Pedro Almodóvar for paper 2 writing.

I have created a wide range of useful resources to support learning, some of which I have uploaded on TES for other teachers to use. Lessons are tailored to the needs of the individual student and can focus as required on any of the key language skills: listening, reading, writing, speaking or grammatical accuracy.

I offer private, Covid-safe, tuition in the comfort of your own home in Buckinghamshire, and I have a clear DBS check on the Update Service.
