I am an engineer working, having recently worked in Aerospace.

I have learnt and applied advanced mathematics at engineering degree level (no teaching), and within my job role.

I thoroughly enjoy mentoring, and am used to having to communicate complex, technical ideas as part of my daily work life!

I know how it feels learning maths, including the challenges of repeatedly going through exercises and trying to learn from first principles to effective application (I have been through many exams and late nights!).

Revision technique/ learning, strategy, and scheduling as important as the mathematical content itself. Experience has taught me it is well worth identifying the most effective, efficient methods of learning for someone individually; so, they can learn more in a shorter amount of time; and ultimately, perform to higher standards.

The more maths is practiced; the higher your confidence will grow; maths is there to be enjoyed.

Experience: I have mentored, however, have not formally taught (do not have teaching qualifications).

I`m happy to teach and support GCSE and A-Level maths to anyone who’d like to learn.
