Maharshi

My name is Maharshi and I am currently an undergraduate student at University Of Southampton. I have gone through the process of A levels and GCSE`s and I understand how difficult it can be when you do not have an effective revision plan. I achieved 7 A* and 3 A’s at GCSE and at A level i Achieved A* A* A* in Maths,Chemistry and Biology. I have over a 3 years of tutoring experience with other students in order to help them get on track. As a result i am very confident in teaching both GCSE`s and A levels. I offer long term tutoring and I will be available for revision sessions closer to the exam season.

Experience: I have previously tutored A-level Mathematics students for two years. I have also tutored students doing GCSE Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry.


My lessons begin by running through the content and going through each concept. Here the student will tackle a variety of problems to gain an understanding of the topic. Then I choose specific exam-style questions relevant to the topic to apply what they have been taught. From here I can acknowledge if the student has attained a complete understanding of what’s been taught and if necessary provide additional help to ensure they are confident.

Towards the end of the lesson, I ask the student a variation of questions from the content which has been covered to test their memory. This is vital as it allows me to see if there are any sections of the topic which they find harder to remember. From here I can verify which concepts need a recap and help the student through any issues.
