Information about Beatrice
My name is Bea, I am 23 and have just completed my first year studying Medicine as a postgraduate student at the University of Oxford, I previously obtained a 2.1 in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. I attended Walthamstow Hall School in Sevenoaks where I achieved 4 A*s. I am kind, patient and enthusiastic and would ensure to give the least patronising tutoring to students, with helpful tips on the ways I remember information.
I am extremely friendly and approachable and willing to teach anyone in Secondary or Primary School. I am happy to help catchup pupils who have missed out on schooling because of Covid or provide general A-level and GCSE or lower level tutoring for Maths and Sciences.
Equally I am happy to teach younger pupils with grasping the basics for any of these subjects, I have experience teaching 7-8 year olds.
I can also provide help for personal statements and Oxbridge/ Medicine interviews.
Availability: I am available and happy to provide help for those who need GCSE, or lower year teaching. I can come to you or see you online.
I am also available for Biology A-level tutoring or help with Medicine applications/interview preparation.
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I have been through the process of taking A-levels and IGCSEs as well as many university examinations, so understand the pressures to succeed and have first hand knowledge of the workload. I have supervisions (one on one lessons) at my university similar to tutoring that gives a good idea of the style of teaching that is most understandable! Furthermore my Father is a teacher and I have had lots of advice from him other the years.
I have tutored many pupils successfully in different disciplines and have babysat/child-minded for many families in my area so have plenty of experience in looking after teenagers.
