I am a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer and Level 3 qualified Self Defence Instructor.

I would say I am an enthusiastic, and patient instructor happy to tailor a programme suited to my client`s needs and/or abilities.

In other words whether you are a person who has done little or no exercise for some time and wishes to get fitter/lose weight or a person wishing to build on an existing good level of fitness I can assist you.

I will ensure that any session provided will be challenging, safe, effective and fun.


In terms of Self Defence instruction I can provide instruction on simple easy to recall defences and escapes, ensuring that my clients also have an awareness of the law and psychology relating to self defence (Situational awareness, fear control etc)

If you want to bring a friend /partner with you to work with that’s fine and there would be no extra charge.

6.00am to 7.00am and evenings from 6pm

Experience: In terms of fitness and Personal Training, I have several years experience working as an instructor for a leading outdoor fitness provider. My clients have ranged from the fit to those who can jog no more than a hundred yards.

In terms of Self Defence experience I am a certified instructor with a Black Belt in Ju Jitsu. I have trained on and off in this martial art for over 20 years.

I am well aware that those looking for self defence tuition are often encouraged to join a martial arts club. Whilst there is nothing wrong with this at all I am aware that this sort of large group environment does not suit everyone`s needs and if you require one to one or small group instruction I can provide the same.

I am happy to travel to you, and am also looking at finding a local location to offer tuition from there.

I charge £20 per hour for one to one tuition. For classes of 2 or more I am happy to discuss a reduced rate per person.
