Information about Katie
I`m a KS3 and KS4 teacher of German and French with a BA in German, Russian and European Studies from the University of Bath.
I offer a warm and friendly learning environment with engaging content and plenty of opportunity to practise key skills. I adapt very easily and tailor classes to the needs of the student.
I`m currently teaching myself Spanish and Mandarin, and really enjoy learning new languages. Outside of languages, I play rugby, walk my dog, watch Netflix and read.
Availability: Weekdays from 5pm.
Weekends as per request.
Willing to travel: 12 miles
Experience: I completed my PGCE at Sussex University and now teach German and French GCSE at an `Outstanding` school in Sussex.
With an in depth knowledge of the curriculum and GCSE mark schemes, I am able to develop not only my students` language capabilities but also their understanding of how to succeed in their language exams.

Katie has been quite an inspiration to my son who started off the summer "hating" French GCSE and now is talking of a gap year in France. He has come on so well and is really enjoying being able to understand and speak a language. I thoroughly recommend Katie.
