I’m a fully qualified teacher and mother to two boys. I enjoy spending time with my family visiting new places, walks in the countryside and reading. I also enjoy learning as much as I enjoy teaching, with maths being my favourite subject.

I have worked in education for 14 years from primary schools to colleges to private training companies. My experience expands across all year groups in the primary sector, as well as tutoring and assessing in the adult education sector. This included delivering courses for a variety of subjects from NVQs/Apprenticeships to Key Skills.

I structure my lessons around textbooks, personalising lessons to suit each student`s preferred style of learning. I teach at the student`s individual pace so that they never worry about keeping up. My teaching is centred around raising confidence, promoting independence and instilling a love of learning.
