Experience: As a former Head of Faculty for Business and Economics in a large state school (9 years), I have a wealth of experience of GCSE and A Level requirements in both Business and Economics. I have experience of teaching students in both the Independent and State sectors across a wide range of abilities and backgrounds. As such, I have an excellent sense for what individual students need to succeed in these subjects. I have a multitude of former students who have gone onto study these subjects at Degree level in a variety of top Universities including LSE, Exeter, Bath and Oxford. A key component of my success is my enthusiasm. My student’s enjoyment of learning is paramount, and alongside hard work, I aim to provide a secure environment where a sense of humour and dedication prevail.

I worked as a Marketing Manager and then a Project Manager in primarily, the I.T. Industry, for 15 years prior to becoming a teacher. This allows me to engage students with real life examples. Relevance is crucial to their understanding.
