His teaching has been spread across high school, college and university students in various settings of study, laboratory practical skills and exam preparation. Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: Currently working as an associate tutor alongside his ongoing PhD student research within UEA. This includes demonstrating to undergraduate university students within the laboratories and providing guidance across the various module subject matters. Alex has also tutored high school and college students who have all seen marked improvement in their science grades and wider understanding. Previously, Alex has tutored a final year undergraduate chemistry student in their various modules, and after directing and assisting effective revision they achieved a 2nd Class First Division BSc. He also supervises undergraduate students in their final year research projects and has delivered lessons and talks to high school students, college students and the public at the university, in schools and public locations during events.

In the last few years Alex has worked with lecturers in effective feedback systems from students, to aid in the improvement of teaching for undergraduate students. Peripherally, Alex has friends who have been successful tutors, who provided the initial advice and guidance for his first tutoring roles.

Some time ago, before Alex`s university studentship, he initially started tutoring to friends whilst undertaking GCSEs, and those who he tutored excelled in achieving better grades than initially predicted by the school. Before going to university Alex worked as a sous chef for several years, where he taught many commis chefs and developed aptitude for motivating and teaching, as well as organisation, and concise and clear communication.
