Hi there! A little bit about me: I am very passionate about my teaching and coaching, and truly believe that information is caught, not taught. I hold a BA Honours in English Literature, an MA in Theology and a PhD in Philosophy, Theology and English Literature. I also hold certificates and experience in Counselling and Mentoring, which have proven to be very useful with past and present students. I have had the greatest pleasure of witnessing the confidence and enjoyment of all my students completely soar in a very short space of time.

Experience: I have extensive experience in tutoring students of various levels. I teach students who simply want to push that little bit further to achieve those 8 and 9s, as well as those who suffer from certain learning challenges and who therefore need some extra support, confidence-building and tailored guidance to achieve the results they desire.

My teaching methodology is to ‘go at your pace’, to ensure you gain a great understanding of the subject and build a passion for subjects I love myself.

I have had extensive experience in teaching a variety of different personalities and abilities, so can therefore adapt very quickly to whatever style/pace each student requires. One size does not fit all, so I’m passionate about celebrating and honouring individuality.

I believe that to achieve great results is to focus the mind, create passion and build upon your confidence. However, the mind can only be focused when it`s brilliantly engaged; when it is entertained. I believe in helping people to learn to really enjoy the subject. Furthermore, patience, from both the teacher and student is key. I believe everyone is capable of achieving high grades, it just takes a little focus, self-belief and a building of passion; and once a passion is born, once you see how well you can do at something, you will start to feel great about yourself, and desire to achieve fantastic grades!
