Hi, I`m Ardis! I`m an enthusiastic, friendly and passionate tutor who will help you get the grades you deserve. I`ve achieved mostly 9`s at GCSE and at A-Level, I consistently achieved A`s and A*`s. I`m here to offer my support and embrace on an enjoyable journey to get you where you need to be.

I`ve tutored 2 GCSE cohort`s over the past 2 years whilst at sixth form and on results day, all my students achieved the grade they wanted or even higher. I`ve also tutored Year 12 AS students who went on to find their AS exams easier because of the sessions we regularly had. I`ve also volunteered and mentored students with learning difficulties during sixth form. I believe all students have the same potential and with some hard work, they can get to where they need to be!

My teaching style is completely flexible. I ensure I teach according to the examboard and always have the specification for the examboard in front of me whilst teaching. This ensures the student knows everything according to what the examboard`s have published. I always cooperate exam questions and quizes to ensure the student understands concepts. In terms of teaching content, I use a digital whiteboard most of the time but this is completely flexible depending on the students needs. I regularly set homework question packs after each lesson to ensure the student consolidates their learning.

I have a great understanding of the AQA A-Level Biology course including the essay, AQA A-Level Chemistry and Edexcel A-Level Mathematics (pure and statistics/mechanics)

I also offer tutoring and advice to those applying to study Medicine. This September, I`ll be starting my Medicine course at the University of Birmingham. I received all 4 medicine offers with 2 of them coming from Russel group universities. My speciality and strength of the medical application cycle is the interview component. One of my offers was given to me a few days after my interview due to exceptional performance. I`m available to do mock interviews with students and give them constructive feedback to improve. In the past, I have also helped Year 12 students with their medicine personal statements and also conducting mock interviews.

Experience: I have volunteered to tutor disadvantaged students over the pandemic as well as tutoring GCSE students for the past 2 years. From the students I`ve tutored, they`ve all received the grades they wanted or even higher.
