Information about Terry
I am a fun and relaxed German tutor who loves German and can help you succeed whether it is for school or college exams or for fun or for a possible move to live in a German speaking country. I am also a teacher of absolute beginners, children and adults, who want to learn German for fun, holidays or business.
I have teaching qualifications in German and teaching English as a foreign language. My experience covers Beginners German, German GCSE and A Level, Conversation. I also have considerable experience in teaching English to foreign students.
My current teaching commitment is helping young and adult learners improve their speaking and writing skills to help make them more successful in their workplace, school or college. I have recently been giving private tuition online in GCSE and A level German also in Conversational German at a higher level. My current commitment is teaching German to ski instructors who need German for their work in Switzerland.
Availability: Most times to suit during the week and possible weekends. I am flexible and would fit in with the student`s availability.

Brilliant tutor - helped my daughter increase her confidence for her German A level . Vert friendly and my daughter looked forward to the lessons (online due to covid) and she hopes to continue talking to Terry over summer prior to University studying German. I was initially unsure about using Tutor hunt and someone I`ve never met or heard anything about but needn`t have worried would 100% recommend Terry as would by daughter

Terry was prompt to reply, my son had only few lessons with her so far but he’s happy with his lessons. Terry is punctual, assessed his needs and set work suitable for his level.

Terry puts so much time and energy into preparation outside of the lessons, I always have a good progression and clear goals. She is a fantastic teacher who is enjoyable to spend time with, who boosts confidence and ability constantly.
I cannot recommend her more.
