Hi, I’m Alex and I have been tutoring for over a year now. My approach to tutoring is more similar to a ‘study buddy’ than that of a traditional tutor, this allows me to make my sessions less formal and more fun yet still remain academically stretching. I am based in London and I went to Latymer Upper School.

As a recent school leaver, I draw from my own recent experience working towards competitive exams and so I am familiar with many different examination systems and also revision techniques, which I use in my sessions.

I am currently studying Medicine at University College London but I tutor in a variety of subjects including maths and English, as well as sciences. Over the past year I have tutored children between the ages of 7 to 16, helping them prepare for a range of examinations such as:

* 11+ Common Entrance Examinations
* 13+ Common Entrance Examinations
* Independent School Entrance and Scholarship Examinations at 7+, 8+, 11+ and 13+ (including Winchester, Eton, Wellington, St. Paul`s, Godolphin, Latymer Upper etc.)
* GCSEs
* International GCSEs

I am based in Notting Hill however, I am happy to travel within the area I have indicated.
