Thank you for your interest.
I have been teaching secondary school science for over 15 years at various schools and have just left the classroom environment to focus on other projects. I have been a school inspector, member of the school senior leadership team, Head of Department and team examiner for A level OCR and Edexcel. Previous to teaching, I was a university lecturer having gained a first class honours degree in Chemistry and PhD from Southampton University.
With my students I aim to clearly explain the fundamentals of a topic, going through worked examples and then support them as necessary in attempting increasingly challenging questions, with a focus on exam technique.
Availability: Weekdays, evenings and weekends.
