¡Hola!

My name is Ana and I am a qualified teacher with experience in Spain and the UK. I am a native Spanish and Catalan speaker, fluent in English and with a basic understanding of French. I am a proactive, reliable and committed teacher with excellent interpersonal skills. With a master’s degree in Teacher Training and Language Teaching, I am passionate about helping students achieve their full potential in Spanish, Catalan and/or English.

Availability: I can take a maximum of 2 students as I am currently teaching full time. We can discuss and agree on convenient lesson times and I can be flexible with rescheduling if needed.

Experience: I have worked as a foreign languages teacher and subject lead (Spanish) in London, UK, for the past 4 years where I designed and delivered rich and inclusive languages curriculums for the schools I worked for, including teaching materials. I have also been responsible for the delivery of high-quality lessons across the board in primary school settings as well as teaching Spanish to staff members on a weekly basis.

As a Spanish private tutor in London, I delivered high-quality private lessons to students of all ages, planned and prepared lessons for levels A1-B2, tested students for comprehension of Spanish and Catalan, identified areas of needed improvement, and created lesson plans to benefit the needs of each individual student.

I encouraged learning with positive reinforcement, assessed student`s progress throughout tutoring sessions, focused on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, facilitated a positive educational environment, and scheduled client appointments.
