*NOT CURRENTLY TAKING ON NEW STUDENTS* Hi, I’m Ben and I recently graduated with a First class degree in physics from the University of Oxford. I love teaching and have been helping students improve their confidence, ability and exam performance for over 6 years. I provide tutoring services in maths, further maths and physics for GCSE and A-Level students.
I have a strong command of the syllabus material from undergraduate study and I am additionally a published author of revision guides sold worldwide.
I take on a range of students: some short term with improving exam performance as the primary goal, and other long-term students for whom I can develop a bespoke curriculum to challenge and inspire them.
I can provide extra tuition for Oxbridge entrance exams - Physical Natural Sciences at Cambridge and Oxford Physics Aptitude Test (PAT) - and assistance with interview preparation. I also have experience in computer programming, so can also teach beginners the fundamentals of coding in Python or Matlab. I am currently in the process of writing a textbook on learning to code in Python.
I offer targeted lessons, ensuring I plan content to suit the individual pupil’s needs. I am always 100% dependable and reliable and pride myself on my flexibility.

I`m a recent graduate from the University of Oxford.
I have A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths and Physics (all A*), further AS Levels in Further Additional Maths and Computer Science (both As) and 11A*s at GCSE.

Highly recommended Our Year 11 daughter has been having weekly lessons with Ben, her confidence in Maths has grown and as a result her grades have improved from a 6 to an 8. Ben is clear and structured in the way he explains various topics and is well prepared for each session. He is friendly and outgoing and my daughter has found it easy to communicate with him. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ben as a Maths tutor.

I only use tutors recommended to me by friends as there could be safety implications if I had to leave my daughter at a strangers house. This tutor was recommended to me by a friend and is an excellent teacher and a trustworthy and reliable young man. He is a university student and Knows his Maths back to front! Very pleased.

What an excellent tutor.He has helped my daughter so much, especially to regain her confidence after a bad year with the wrong teacher, at A level.Ben is brilliant, extremely clever,very patient and makes the pupil feel very comfortable.Although he`s not around during Oxfords term time, he`s well worth waiting for! 10/10
