Information about Rebecca
What you parents and carers have been asked to do during this pandemic is an impossible task. There is a reason we are either working parents, part-time working parents or stay at home parents. Working, parenting and teaching are three very different jobs and cannot be done at the same time.
Despite doing the very best we can, following the pandemic there may be gaps in your child`s education that a ratio of one adult to thirty children cannot fill. That is why I am offering some fun and engaging tutoring sessions to support your child with English and/or maths.
I have been a teacher for 14 years and a teaching Deputy Headteacher in a Primary School for the last 4. I believe learning can be fun and should be practical and engaging. I will offer a bespoke learning experience, depending on your child`s interests and learning style.
Hiring a tutor is a big decision and costs money. Please, please feel free to contact me to talk about this further.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Availability: I am available from 4pm most evenings and Saturday mornings.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have been a teaching Deputy Headteacher for the past four years and a SENDCo for 6 years. I have taught in every year group, from Early Years up to Year 6.
I am passionate about children developing a love of learning. This hasn`t always been easy with the latest curriculum and statutory assessments. Tutoring provides me with the opportunity to teach children in a fun, kinesthetic way on a 1:1 basis. They make remarkable progress and enjoy learning. What more could you ask for.
