I am experienced maths teacher with over 13 years of specialist mathematics teaching experience across various countries. In the UK, I have been teaching secondary school students for the last 6 years.

I enjoy dealing with the variety of expectations from every individual pupil and alter my teaching style to best suit the learner profile. I have always been a brilliant student with excellent academic scores across all educational qualifications. I hold an MSc in Mathematics and BA in Mathematics (2nd rank in the entire university).

Experience: With over 13 years of specialist mathematics teaching experience in some of the best schools in India & UK, I have taught a diverse set of pupils (in Age group 10 – 16 years) across various curriculums in Maths (IB, GCSE, CBSE, ICSE etc. which brings a global perspective in my teaching). For the last 6 years I have been teaching secondary school students in mathematics. I am currently working as a full time teacher in Cox Green School, Maidenhead. Prior to UK, I was working as a secondary teacher in Bombay Scottish School, Mumbai, India (Top 10 schools in the country)

I have also held the responsibilities of a class teacher and ensured that my class not only came up with the best results but also excelled in extra-curricular activities. I have extensive teaching experience to pupils across academic levels and abilities.

My teaching is driven by 3 core principles:
1. Everybody can do and enjoy mathematics if guided by a teacher who is able to make the subject interesting and connecting it to real life day to day applications.
2. There are 2 main aspects of mathematics : Conceptual understanding and practical problem solving. As a teacher one needs to balance between the two
3. There is no shortcut to success. A good mathematics teacher needs to prepare and should know the material & theory inside out.

Mathematics is a fascinating subject to some and can be quite complex for others. As an instructor, I make it a point to make sure that I create enthusiasm amongst students for mathematics. While I have learned much about teaching mathematics, I am under no illusion as to having perfected it. I learn each day from each lesson and each pupil
