I have over 12 years teaching experience at secondary school level. I have a Business Studies Degree and have qualified teacher status. I have experience of teaching business related subjects at GCSE, BTEC and A Level and also have some experience in ICT related subjects at GCSE and BTEC

Availability: Most days after school and evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have an extensive knowledge of teaching GCSE, BTEC and A-level syllabus in business studies.

I have a proven track record of improving student performance in exams and coursework through my teaching and learning techniques and finding innovative ways in supporting students with their learning. I am aware it is not a one size fits all approach and will endeavour to find ways to support a young person with their studies. During the last 12 years as a teacher I have built positive relationships with students so they feel happy and supported in my classroom.


I use a variety of methods to teach/tutor depending on the subject topic being covered. I will do a subject audit to identify key strengths and areas for improvement. I follow the syllabuses for the different examination boards and use a variety of resources which include IT, worksheets, mind maps, graphs and data analysis I follow the national curriculum and exam style tests. I will also assist in preparing a suitable revision
