I finished a Mathematics PhD (specialisation of mathematical biology) a couple of years ago. While doing the PhD I taught in large group tutorials and also individual students, often with additional needs. I have since been working in data science, continuing to tutor in the afternoons/evenings. I tutor the following levels:

-university level year courses for mathematics students and other science/engineering students doing mathematics related modules such as Maths for Engineers [currently only accepting people on courses within the Edinburgh area].

-high school all levels (experience teaching 1-5th year, especially Nat 5).

I enjoy the personal side of tutoring, motivating people to enjoy and see the point of studying maths.

Availability: Afternoon/evening

Willing to travel: 50 miles

Experience: Most recently, I have tutored mainly National 5 and a little higher and Nat 4.
