I pride myself on my ability to make every student feel comfortable and confident in their study of the English GCSE, no matter their level of understanding. I am enthusiastic, reliable and patient with a plethora of resources that can be used to support a range of academic abilities and needs. I have taught both AQA and OCR at KS4. During the pandemic, I applied to become an AQA examiner for English Language, Paper One. I am pleased to announce that I was awarded this role and looked forward immensely to growing my knowledge further of this exam. However, due to the pandemic, the GCSE did not go ahead in its normal fashion, so I was unable to undertake this role. As we move into a new academic year, I am very hopeful that I will be able to undertake the position to examine and mark the GCSE papers once again. This is so that I am able to provide a further level of expertise to students undergoing their English GCSE.
