Information about Osama
My consistent academic prowess was championed by the awarding of two ‘Red awards’ in Languages (2007) and the Sciences (2009) at my secondary school and these were the outcomes of my diligence and continual hard working ethos.
I also received a Young Writers Award (2008) for my literary skills and this highlighted another personal passion which is namely appreciation of Literature.
My piece called ‘School’ was chosen to be published in a book representing the most competitive pupils’ work, and was entitled ’Talking ‘Bout My Generation’.
Availability: Completely free.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: Teaching GCSE mathematics for two years nurtured my ability to explain complex concepts which in turn furthered and strengthened my own understanding. I developed this aspect further by tutoring in Carpenters primary school where I assisted students in gaining a better understanding of early mathematical
concepts, enhanced their literacy skills and all round academic fluency.
. I also volunteer at a biological institution called Centre of the Cell, helping take in scientific concepts to younger students which in turn increases and strengthens my versatility of knowledge.
