Experience: With plenty of classroom experience 44 years ( with 22 in ITT) I can personalise content to your specific needs. I have taught GCSE,A level, B.Tec and GNVQ courses for Physics and Electronics. With a vast array of resources at my disposal I can target these for online or one-to-one teaching. Lessons are engaging and very down to earth with no frills. Jargon is explained as I go along to ensure you always have the correct technical terms and vocabulary often required to gain marks in examinations. Mathematics can often be a barrier for some students, so I always ensure that this is taught in context as a way of helping to understand and build further confidence. Making the topic real is the key to accessing and engaging a topic so the lessons will always be embedded in everyday examples. Material is presented in a manner that keeps key concepts at the heart of the learning and therefore ensures that deeper learning takes place. No rote learning for the sake of it. Not just diagrams but animations and simulations are built into sessions presented on whiteboard activities that can be interactive and fun to engage with.
