I am an extremely passionate learner who loves to teach students. As a tutor I feel that each individual student is different and understanding how each child learns the best is key in helping to teach them in the most effective way. My teaching style is focused more on being interactive as I feel that is the most effective way to get students engaging in lessons and properly learn. I feel that music is a good outlet for students whatever age they are. It allow people to express themselves and learn valuable skillsets through practice. I have graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA in Politics and Economics. I would like to pursue teaching as my career as it is something I am extremely passionate about.

Experience: I have been teaching piano for the past 3 years years to students face to face and via webcam. I have been taking part in international teaching programs for the past four years in countries like Nepal, India, Morocco and Malaysia. Upon graduating from the University of Nottingham I took part in a year long international teaching program from September 2019 to April 2020. As part of this i was tutoring young children between the ages of 6-16 how to read, write, speaking English, Music, Maths and Science lessons. Despite not having any official teaching qualifications I am sure my skillset and hands on experience in teaching makes up for this. Travelling gives you an insight on cultural sensitivities and a sense of understand of individuals who come from different background to oneself which makes me best fit to teach absolutely anyone.

I have completed grades 1-5 with ABRSM, and grades 6-8 with Trinity College London. I have also completed my grade 5 ABRSM Theory Exam.
