I am a final year medical student at [contact detail removed] with ambitions of becoming a paediatrician. I have been a tutor for the last 7 years and have developed a teaching style that revolves around a tailored approach to each child and their needs. I strongly believe in creating a safe, fun and enthusiastic environment in which a child can learn. With regards to my own academic performance, I achieved 9A*s/1A at GCSE, A*AA at A-level and have a degree from UCL in medical sciences. Outside of teaching and academics, I spend my time painting, jogging and playing the clarinet. I am a keen reader and am extremely eager to engender this same enthusiasm towards books in my students.

Experience: I have extensive tutoring experience having taught for the last 7 years of my life. My teaching has encompassed both primary school and secondary school level; however, most recently I have solely been focusing on primary-school age teaching and preparation for the 7+/11+ exams for selective schools. I am competent in Zoom teaching and in-person lessons and have also helped a number of students with Special Educational Needs. I have a very good track record of getting pupils into prestigious schools such as St Paul`s and Westminster. I have also helped a number of students move from bottom-set maths to top-set maths, or go from a C-grade to an A-grade at GCSE.
