Dear Parents/Students/Carers/Guardians,
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. My name is Andy and I am a very passionate and successful private tutor. Having studied at two prestigious universities (Royal Holloway, University of London and University of Oxford) I have extensive experience of achieving academic success. My experience has enabled me to support my students to achieve their potential grades and secure places at the universities of their choice.
I focus my sessions around identifying the students strengths and weaknesses and then developing their knowledge and skills within the subjects of History and English. I encourage my students to be curious and challenge them to think independently and develop their skills of analysis.
Essay writing skills are very important within the subjects I teach and for this reason I also devote time to essay planning and structure. I am also able to provide support around coursework and UCAS applications if requested.
