Information about Basel

I am currently a first year Electronic and Information Engineering student at Imperial College London, although next year I am transferring to UCL to a course in Mathematics and Economics instead. I achieved 3A* in A-level (Maths, Further Maths, Physics) and I have a huge passion for these subjects as I believe they are the key to develop any persons problem solving and analytical skills in addition to providing transferable skills that may be applied in any other field.

The coronavirus pandemic has hit students especially hard, teachers are forced to teach big classes online and are expected to get through to every single one of them over a period of an hour and a lot of students are not happy with online school. I believe tutoring is the best way for you to get your child/children back on track to achieving the grades they deserve and provide them the best foundation for their future and I would be happy to be a part of that.

Experience: I have been tutoring GCSE for 3 years now, when I began it was mostly friends or parents of friends asking me help out, once I realised I had a knack for teaching and explaining concepts to others and building their fundamentals for a subject.

Just after I finished my A levels I began tutoring for it ( almost a year now ) and so far in October 2020 re-examinations, all my students surpassed their predicted grades by 1-2 grades.

Teaching Method:
When I teach Mathematics or Physics at GCSE or A-Level, my main focus is not on the exact material the exam board provides but instead building and expanding upon their fundamental knowledge of the subjects which always positively impacts their exam performance. I like to teach how to approach and solve questions logically, rather than just teach the material and have the students rely on their memory. This way they can react to anything the exam board decides to throw at them.

I have used this method for 15+ students and have nothing but positive outcomes so far.
