I have twenty six years experience of teaching GCSE and A level geography in the north of England and London, the majority of these as head of department. Over the last eight years I have tutored a wide variety of students across London, and nationally online, with the primary aim in each case being a significant and lasting improvement in exam and coursework results, particularly where there are gaps or weaknesses in knowledge.

My particular expertise lies in fine-tuning a students` exam technique ( I have also worked as an examiner), using exam papers, exemplar answers and mark schemes to inform progress and affecting the quality of written answers, especially longer, essay-style ones.

I am able to deliver across all A level and GCSE geography specifications online, using Zoom, Skype or all other platforms, but am also happy to conduct in-person tutorials at the homes of students if I can reach them.
