Information about Amber
I am a graduate from the University of Chichester, with a degree in History. I am a secondary school history teacher so I’ve got a really good understanding of the pressure students are under with all their subjects as well as a good understanding of the curriculum and exam expectations. DBS checked. Would be happy to tutor KS3 and GCSE History (Edexcel - Cold War, Elizabethan England, Nazi Germany, Medicine through Time). Can offer primary and KS3 mathematics (I have an A Level in maths) and have access to a wide range of resources to support your child’s learning in this area.
Availability: Evenings and weekends
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: GCSEs: A* English Language, A Maths, B History, B English Literature.
A Levels: C Maths, D History, D English Literature.
BA (Hons) History Degree- Second Class Upper Division (2:1).
Experience working with young people on the NCS summer programme, specialising working with young people with SEND needs.
Secondary School History Teacher. Experience with KS3 curriculum and Edexcel GCSE specification.
