Information about Lidia
Hi there! :)
My name is Lidia, I am native Spanish and I have been living in the UK for over five years. I moved to Manchester after working as a tutor support for Creativity Works Preston through EVS programme, where I carried out different types of activities with kids and teenagers.
While working in marketing online, I was teaching Spanish in the evenings and really enjoying it as I had the best learners you can imagine. Unfortunately, due to health issues, I had to stop for a while during Covid time, but I`m back now (traveling between the UK and Spain) and willing to go back to teaching.
I am very patient, reliable and optimistic person, so I firmly think there is nothing impossible to accomplish!
Availability: I can teach different levels, always using dynamic and enjoyable methods. My approach depends on every student`s goal and it`s always important to create a nice atmosphere based on communication.
As a language student myself, I am able to understand the difficulties of learning a new language. Each person is different and they have their own pace and style of learning, so it is important to adapt your techniques depending on the student`s needs.
I am fully available at the moment, but unfortunately just online due to health issues. I will miss to have a laugh with my students in person but this is better than nothing! ;)
Willing to travel: 50 miles
Experience: I first started teaching when I was about 19-20 years old giving private English lessons for kids and teenagers by preparing them for their school exams. Then, I started studying journalism, so I stopped teaching for a while. After that period, I did some sporadic lessons with adults for few years but later, I focused on other aspects of my career.
Since I got to Preston, I have taken up my passion for teaching and I can`t believe how happy (and lucky) I am with my students. So I would like to keep teaching as long as I could.
