Native teacher from Spain. I have been in the profession for 20 years with a high A/A* pass rate at A Level, GCSE, IGCSE, IB and Pre-U. GCSE and A Level Spanish Examiner. I put the emphasis on spontaneous conversation and I always prepare each lesson to suit each individual`s needs.

My current private pupil base covers a wide array of ages, backgrounds and linguistic abilities and needs, going from primary school learners who want to learn through games to octogenarians with an inquisitive mind, without forgetting business entrepreneurs.

Experience: I have taught GCSE and A Level Spanish at Habs Boys, Dame Alice Owens, and Haileybury. I am currently employed as a full-time Spanish teacher at a top independent school in North London where I teach all levels of Spanish from year 6 to year 13 (new A Level and new GCSE Spanish curriculum). I have also taught IB, IGCSE and Pre-U. Having prepared two pupils to successfully gain entry to Oxford University to read Spanish last academic year, I am also in charge of the Spanish Oxbridge provision at my school. I am familiar with both the AQA and Edecxel examination boards having worked as both a GCSE and A Level examiner. Spanish literature and film are my specialties, I cover Almodovar, Garcia Lorca and Garcia Marquez among others. I am CRB checked and completed my PGCE in Foreign Modern Languages at The University of Buckingham.

I have successfully prepared dozens of pupils to take Spanish GCSE and A Level outside school, I am happy to organise all exam entry paperwork and conduct the oral section.
