I have just completed my first year of a Medical Science degree at the University of Birmingham which has provided me with a good understanding of Maths and Biology.
I am an approachable and highly motivated individual, and have a good understanding of exam technique as well as the content required to pass the exam.

Availability: Week Nights and Weekends

Experience: I have provided one on one tutoring sessions in maths and science at GCSE level at the secondary school I attended. For these sessions I received great feedback and was encouraged by the improvement the students showed. Furthermore I have tutored and supported Kids with dyslexia and other learning difficulties in maths. Often this required me to build up a students confidence in the subject so that they could better engage with the subject.

My tutoring experience has taught me that each individual learning style is different therefore with each individual tutee I allow a couple of sessions to get to know them and their learning style so that I can ensure the correct learning environment for them. In particular it is important that in the sessions not only content is covered but also exam technique.
