During the last 20 years of being a tutor with a PhD, I have taught and built confidence in thousands of students of all ages and levels, including those with dyslexia and learning disabilities, with outstanding results. I specialise in preparing students for GCSEs and A-Level exams, along with helping students struggling with test anxiety.

Since I tutor maths, science and English, I can personalise lessons with various subjects, depending on the student`s needs.

My background in medicine and holding a PhD enables me to add more enrichment to the lessons than the standard. I am genuinely passionate about teaching and love watching students grow in their knowledge and confidence.

Experience: I has vast experience working with some of the most prestigious tutoring agencies. In the USA, I worked closely with Beverly Hills Tutoring Center for over seven years as their top tutor. I was a `Tutor to the Stars` as I was the private tutor to many celebrity and politician families. I have also tutored in Europe and Asia before relocating to the UK. I have worked with several prestigious tutoring agencies in the UK, both as a private tutor and as an online classroom teacher for schools around England and Wales.

I also created the curriculum used by other tutoring and test-prep agencies for mathematics, science and English, as I specialise in GCSE and SAT test prep.

In addition to using the standard school text books, I have written and utilise my own GCSE maths and English books to further enhance exam results.

I am fully DBS certified and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Occidental College, a Master`s degree in Chinese Medicine and a doctorate degree. I hold a diploma in Neuroscience and Neuroanatomy, Psychotherapy and Holistic Life Coaching. I am a practitioner in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Emotional Freedom Technique and Thought Field Therapy.

Using these skills, my tuition sessions go beyond the scope of regular tuition, as I also incorporate proven techniques that enhance study skills and memory retention, reduce procrastination tendencies and reduce test anxiety and daily stresses.

I am an approved Tuition Partner for the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) that was initiated by the government to support pupils due to the disruption of learning caused by the pandemic.

I have recently been named ‘Best of Tutors 2020’ and I am a member of Mensa.
