During the last 20 years of being a tutor with a PhD, I have taught and built confidence in thousands of students of all ages and levels, including those with dyslexia and learning disabilities, with outstanding results. I specialise in preparing students for GCSEs and A-Level exams, along with helping students struggling with test anxiety. I am genuinely passionate about teaching and love watching students grow in their knowledge and confidence.

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Occidental College, I went on to achieve a Master’s in Chinese Medicine and a doctorate, further supplementing my expertise with diplomas in Neuroscience, Neuroanatomy, Psychotherapy, and Holistic Life Coaching. I am also trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Thought Field Therapy, allowing me to address the emotional and psychological aspects of learning as well as academic achievement. My background in medicine enables me to add more enrichment to the lessons than the standard.

My career has taken me around the globe, including significant positions in the United States, Europe, and Asia. In the USA, I served as a top tutor at the Beverly Hills Tutoring Center for over seven years, working closely with high-profile families, celebrities, and politicians. Since relocating to the UK, I have continued my journey as a tutor and educator, contributing to the success of students across England and Wales both as a private tutor and as an online classroom teacher.

I am fully DBS-certified, an approved Tuition Partner for the National Tutoring Programme (NTP), and a proud member of Mensa. My commitment to excellence was recognised with a ‘Best of Tutors 2020’ award, reflecting my dedication to student growth and achievement.

I am currently writing several books on health and science, drawing upon my clinical experience and medical research.

Experience: I have extensive teaching experience with broad exposure to various aspects of the profession, including both private online and classroom instruction, as well as developing a comprehensive curriculum for multiple online and in-person tutoring organizations in the subjects of mathematics, science, English and test preparation for Key Stage, GCSEs, A-Levels and the American SAT exams.

I specialise in helping students achieve top exam scores, with a strong track record of students attaining high grades and maximise their academic potential. To establish this, I have created predicted exams based upon an extensive slide collection featuring every typical maths, science and English problem covered in past exam papers. I design assessments, progress reports and engaging learning activities to support students.

I have experience in supporting students with test anxiety through Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and basic cognitive behavioural strategies. I am also skilled in tutoring STEM subjects to students of all abilities, including those with learning disabilities (SEND) like ADHD, dyslexia and autism.

I have tutored adults in preparation for a variety of exams, including the Mensa IQ test, the Royal Navy Recruiting Test (RT) for Marines, the Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) test for prospective teachers, and the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) for aspiring doctors. In addition, I have assisted doctorate students with dissertation writing, supported nurses with essay composition, and helped computer science students succeed in further mathematics. I have also assisted students in writing personal statements for college and university applications.

Lessons are designed to focus on building students’ confidence and creating a calm, supportive learning environment.

My teaching philosophy reflects my teaching style. I support my students in every way I can. If they have a test coming up and need a few extra minutes for a lesson, it`s no problem. I open up my phone so that if students have questions during the week or issues on an assignment, they are welcome to text me and I will respond when I can.
