I am an experienced science teacher and AQA examiner, currently working as Deputy Head of Science at a highly respected, outstanding secondary school in Hampshire.

As an examiner, I have detailed insight into GCSE assessment standards and mark schemes, which is particularly valuable with the increased demand of modern specifications. I use this understanding to help students develop precise exam technique, clarity of scientific understanding, and the ability to maximise marks under timed conditions.

I specialise in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, supporting students across all ability ranges, with a particular focus on improving exam performance and helping students achieve grades 7–9 through structured understanding, targeted practice, and examiner-informed techniques.

Alongside my school leadership role, I have over a decade of mentoring experience, supporting students into some of the UK’s most competitive independent schools, including Westminster, Brighton College, Wycombe Abbey and Cheltenham Ladies’ College, as well as progression to highly competitive university courses such as Medicine and Dentistry.

I work with a small number of private students alongside my school role to ensure focused, consistent and high-quality support.
