I am a "just retired" secondary school maths teacher. Over the past 12 years I have taught at Cove Secondary and developed an affinity with children who had problems in mathematics and the lower ability pupils and students. I have had some excellent KS3 and KS4 results with the Set 3`s and Set4`s. I have as lot of patience and will explain things many times until the child is relatively happy. I do not rush children but let them go at their pace as undue pressure leads to poor understanding.
I am able to tutor Junior School pupils but will only go down to year 3.

I love cats and dogs and not met one yet that doesn`t like me!!

Experience: Graduated in 1969. Two years at Courtmoor School two years at Yateley Comprehensive and then 25 years at home looking after my handicapped daughter who is now in a residential house, finally 12 years at Cove Secondary. Inbetween all this, especially when Sarah was at home I was involved in a lot of home tutoring. I also became involved in examination marking with a friend.
