I am a 32 year-old private tutor of AS/A2 level Maths and Further Maths, and the UKCAT with over 14 years experience. I am both a Mechanics and Statistics specialist and have supplementary sideline specialisms tutoring applicants to Medicine and Dentistry courses and those students intending to sit the Oxbridge Maths and Physics Admissions Tests.

I teach in a relaxed, friendly and encouraging atmosphere. Many of my current and former students/parents are also more than willing to provide references for those wishing to acquire further information prior to organising any tuition arrangements.

Experience: I work very closely with some of the major exam boards as a Principal Examiner writing high-level questions for A2 Maths and Further Maths exams alongside further moderation work marking exam scri pts (A2 Maths and Further Maths) and question-writing for the UKCAT and various other content publications (textbooks) and also for IQ assessment providers. I have also created my own personal, privately owned Mechanics, Statistics and Pure papers designed specifically to push my students beyond the general scope. I can help greatly with exam technique and provide excellent advice on how to reach exam success from an examiner’s viewpoint.

Year-on-year around 90% of my student register typically comprises high-ability students, mostly applying to study Medicine, Dentistry, Maths, Physics and Engineering. I have a wealth of experience in these spheres and can offer this additional benefit to prospective students.

I have taught from all of the AQA, Edexcel, OCR and OCR-MEI syllabuses, comprising all the Pure, Statistics and Mechanics modules of A-level Maths and Further Maths (I no longer teach Decision Maths). There are few individuals who can tutor this wide spectrum of A2 Maths, and even fewer who can offer such further specialisation.
