Hi! My name is Beth and I am a 21 year old graduate from Queen Mary University of London with a BSc Geography degree. I also have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification. Since graduating, I have been teaching English in Hong Kong. I am now based in the UK.

We all know that school is stressful, especially in the current climate! I find that a friendly face and a sympathetic ear are essential to promoting confidence. I am encouraging and able to help students to understand their work well. It`s easy to give up when you feel like you`re so far behind, but I am here to help empower you and help to achieve what you deserve.

I have a lot of interest in helping people who struggle with confidence issues and low self esteem, as from past experience I am well aware of the impact this has on studies, furthered by low mental health. Everyone deserves to fulfil their potential!

I look forward to tutoring you, as well as getting to know you and your passions!

Availability: I am available 7am-9pm by prior arrangement. I am fully flexible and able to work around the times that you need.

I am also fully available on weekends.

Experience: I have taught English as a foreign language in Hong Kong since I graduated, including Phonics (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), Grammar and Writing, Reading and Speaking, Cambridge English Assessment prep and Trinity Examination prep.
I have had experience tutoring primary school children, helping them to complete their homework and to understand class tasks they may have had difficulty with. I have also specialised in teaching dyslexic children, helping them to overcome barriers.
I have also had experience tutoring teenagers taking A-levels, specifically in Geography, English Literature and History.
I am proficient in English, and have recently undertaken a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) course, and so am fully qualified.
