Hello, I am extremely driven, knowledgable and passionate with my subjects. I am also DBS and TEFL trained.

I am a BA Art and Design Graduate from the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. I am passionate about helping all ages gain the qualifications they need or to improve in certain subject areas. I have excellent communication skills, and I have superb written and spoken English. I believe I work well with children, and I enjoy helping them learn and develop their skills, this is because I have a positive and uplifting personality. I am extremely attentive, kind and caring, and would always try my hardest to make sure you or your child enjoys my sessions and benefits tenfold.

Experience: I have 120 hour TEFL qualification (in teaching) and a 2:1 in B.A Art and Design at the University of Leeds. I can teach GCSE, A-Level and Degree level Art and/or Design with my qualifications.

I have led art workshops in a support/education setting for children. I have a broad understading of the creative and academic side of art and design, as my degree included both elements including: art and design history and theories, developing portfolios and exhibition spaces, fashion styling, photography, Illustration, a wide range of essay writing and dissertation planning, research methods, photoshop, illustrator, Indesign, the fundamentals of Imaging, and green design & sustainability.

I have an extensive background in working creatively with children (as a student host- leading presentations and activities, as an au pair, by running art workshops for primary school children as a Leeds Loves Arts Ambassador, and as a play scheme support worker for SEN children). I have displayed art work in many private shows. I have a broad understanding of the different paint approaches including abstract art and using unique methods of drawing.

I can also teach GCSE and A-level Textiles (I have a grade A (8) in GCSE textiles as well as a triple Distinction in my Textiles BTEC. I can also teach English as I am TEFL trained and have a GCSE B (6) in both English Language and English Literature. I have wrote numerous 1st grade dissertations and essays during University.

I have worked in a variety of different settings with children and adults, and have led presentations, research skill days, tours, and study activities as a Arts Ambassador and Student Host at Univeristy. I have worked as a Au Pair in Spain and carried out English Lessons and activities.

I have an enhanced DBS certificate and have worked in many settings helping and teaching children in the education setting. I also have a `Safeguarding Children` Certificate, an adult social care NCFE qualification, as well as certificates surrounding supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
