Experience: I have been in various roles in numerous schools around Greater Manchester and further afield, such as being a Trainee Teacher, a Teaching Assistant and a Cover Supervisor. As a Teaching Assistant, I have taught and assisted pupils in a number of Boys and Girls practical PE lessons at KS3 and 4. Ran intervention sessions (in both practical and theory). Delivered intervention and one to one sessions to pupils in a number of subjects including Maths. I have been involved in Maths lessons at both KS3 and 4 through the combination of all of my school-based experiences. These experiences have either involved: solo or team teaching Maths lessons assisting pupils with SEN, either within Maths lessons or through one to one intervention sessions marking or giving verbal feedback to pupils on their progress in Maths as well as observing outstanding practice from colleagues in Maths. To add to my school-based experiences I have successfully taught PE at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 of the curriculum including practical subjects, GCSE, A Level and Key Stage 5 BTEC Sport. I have taught across the ability spectrum employing a range of teaching and learning styles.
