I am a teacher with 26 years experience of teaching. I have taught Maths, Computer Science and Physics to A-level.

I hold degrees in Physics and Mathematics as well as a PGCE in Mathematics with Computing.
I am an examiner for A-level Mathematics and Further Maths.

Over the past few years I have had several tutees from the local University who were struggling with the maths content of their course. Topics including fluid dynamics and structural mechanics.

Other popular subjects are Physics (particularly OCR option B) and the new computing GCSE.

Availability: I am available at any time. Obviously, some slots for tutoring are "occupied" by current students. It depends on the time of year.

I tutor students from Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire as I live on the western edge of Nottinghamshire.

I am also happy to teach small groups. This could be a cost effective way of several students getting tuition. I do not add pro rata to my fee to do this and so three or four students could get together and get some help for a much lower fee per person. Contact me for details.
