I am a second-year undergraduate studying Physics at Durham University, achieving a 1st class result with 82% in my 1st year. I have over two years’ experience in professional tutoring, a highly successful academic background in the subjects I wish to specialise in and a natural proficiency for teaching, something which I’ve loved to do my whole life. My communication skills are very effective, alongside a calm temperament and ability to work effectively with people of mixed levels of confidence, ages and abilities. I hope to use my problem-solving skills and affinity for conveying knowledge in my career after university.

Availability: My availability during term time will be mixed depending on academic commitments which will come first for me. However, outside of term time I will be available to work as many hours as necessary, but I will be at my address in Winchester, Hampshire.

Experience: Two years as a trained assistant at Winchester Kumon centre (reference available):
Tutored both Maths and English. Experience of marking the students work and providing help when they became stuck in the Maths side of the centre. I was also required to keep the students’ behaviour in check (the age of the students ranged from 5 – 17). I worked in the administrative side of the centre, alongside considerable experience with the setting, marking and recording of homework given to students.

Two weeks work experience as assistant to managing director in Solar 350 (reference available):
Compiled spreadsheets using information I researched myself, talked to investors and produced PowerPoint presentations for the MD. These presentations were used by the managing director in talks with investors during my time at the company.
