Gurprit

I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2013 where I obtained a First in BSc. Mathematics. I then went onto the University of Nottingham where I studied for my Mathematics 11-18 teaching qualification. I have taught at The Sixth Form College Solihull where I have gained experience in A Level Maths, GCSE Maths Resit and AS Level Use of Maths.

I currently work as a Maths Tutor in a local school and tutor privately. I have been tutoring for 3 years.

During my teacher training I worked in secondary schools where I built relationships with students from years 7 to 11. At all the schools I have worked at I have always taken the time to participate in extra curricular activities such as Anime +Manga societies, after school workshops and even helping at a knitting and crocheting club.
I am very enthusiastic and passionate about Mathematics. I am considered to be a patient teacher with a positive outlook about all students regardless of their strengths or weaknesses. I enjoy teaching students of all abilities and helping them build their confidence in Mathematics.

Availability: Mon - Sun 12pm till 9pm

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: 6 years teaching A level and GCSE Mathematics.
