Hi! My name is Kat. I have recently left my job as Headteacher to focus on my 3 small children at home (ages 7, 5 and 1). I am eager to keep working with children up to the age of 7 (up to and including Year 2), with my specialism being in Early Years. I am passionate about working with young children in all areas of learning. I look forward to hearing from you!

Experience: I have been a teacher for over a decade, working primarily in Early Years (Nursery and Reception), but also have experience in Key Stage 1. My most recent role was Headteacher of a Nursery School, which I adored, but after having my third baby I needed to consider my work life balance. My specialism has always been in Early Years. I am available to work on all aspect of your child’s development, from Personal, Social and Emotional Development or Communication and Language to working on phonics and pre-literacy/literacy and pre-maths/maths skills. Being a mummy myself, I am empathetic and caring as well as knowledgable and have effective behaviour management skills.
