Hello, I`m Zoe. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford, studying English Language and Literature at St Peter`s College.

I`m an experienced tutor and I believe that with a good, solid education everyone`s opportunities in life are improved. I am patient and very committed to getting the best from my students. I work with students of all ages: from primary level through to the 11+, 13+, GCSEs, A-Levels and adult learners. I have experience with most south and north London entrance examinations, and have successfully seen students through the intense preparation often required for these tests. I have a valid DBS certificate dated March 2016.

Prior to university I attended Streatham and Clapham High School (8-16), and Wallington County Grammar School (16-18).

I completed A-Levels in English, Medieval History, French, Classical Civilisation and Philosophy AS Level.

My main interest is English Literature but I am ever-keen to use my French, and am also passionate about History, both ancient and modern. At GCSE level I opted to study primarily languages, namely French, German, Latin and Ancient Greek, and I am so grateful for the skills and linguistic understanding these diverse subjects have given me.

I am a keen reader, theatre-goer and traveller I also enjoy sports, particularly running, netball and cycling. I live in southwest London and am happy to travel.

Experience: I have five years` experience tutoring people of all ages, and am currently specialising in English, French and History lessons and entrance/university interview preparation lessons. I have 500+ hours of tutoring experience.

I`m familiar with the entry requirements and various methods of testing at most south London schools and a good number of north London schools. I have most experience helping students gain entry to Dulwich College, Hampton School, Latymer Upper, Francis Holland and St Paul`s, as well as many other independent, state and grammar schools.

I have worked as a temporary assistant at Falkner House School in South Kensington (children aged 3-11).

I have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) qualification.
