Information about Jessica
I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University and have completed my NQT year. I am currently working as a supply teacher which means I am gaining loads of experience in each Year group. I have secure knowledge of the national curriculum particularly in Year 5 - getting children ready for their final primary year in preparation for their SATs. However, I am trained and able to teach within any primary year. Creativity is the key in my style of teaching, keeping the learning interesting whilst incorporating vital skills, as well as adapting to the needs of the child/children. I work hard to find any gaps in their learning which rapidly improves progress.
I have only listed a handful of subjects that I can teach, if there is a specific subject you would like you child to learn please dont hesistate to ask. I am qualified to teach all primary subjects for example science, P.E, French, Spanish... etc.
Availability: I have a lot of flexibility to fit in with you. I am currently available through the day, during the evening (except Monday and Thursday) and over the weekend. This allows me to work with children after their school day or help with home schooling.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: Mostly year 5 and year 2 but I have experience in all primary years.Contact this Tutor
Feedback For Jessica (4)
Jessica is a great tutor. She has worked with my 8 yo for a few month now. His confidence & ability has improved greatly. Jessica adapts learning to make it enjoyable, whilst continuing to improve his skills in all aspects of the subject. So much so that I have now asked that she tutors my 6yo. Jessica is polite, reliable & creative. I can`t thank her enough for the support she has given so far & would recommend her to anyone looking to improve their childs ability & confidence!
She`s a great teacher
she was really good and professional.
Jessica has been great so far and already we have really seen a positive development within our two boys aged 10 and 8. Jessica is clearly very confident and experienced with the KS1 & KS2 curriculum and has a very engaging and effective delivery style bringing the best out of the children.
