Hi!

I am a professional one-to-one tutor, having graduated from the LSE in Economics & History with over 7 years experience in coaching students to achieve their best possible exam results. I am bilingual and whilst predominantly teaching in the UK have experience teaching in Spain and the Middle East.

I have a passion for teaching Economics and Maths, currently working as a commodities trader and in the past have created the UK`s 1st student investment fund whilst at LSE as well as founding a student magazine dedicated to teaching economic and mathematical concepts within the context of relatable current affairs.

All my students are unique аnd аs such, I аlwаys assess their breadth and depth of understanding before devising а persоnаl study plаn fоr eаch аnd every оne оf them. I first tаke intо аccоunt their gоаls, exam board, time remaining to their exаms, the mаteriаl thаt needs tо be cоvered and the current level оf the student. I place these against the number of hours we have together and self-study of the student to create a personal timetable ensuring a complete knowledge with vast exam practice in time for their examinations.

My teaching style is to break often difficult or complex concepts into the simplest and easiest of understandable building blocks, using actual examination questions and focussing on exam technique throughout all lessons to help students achieve the best possible results. I bring Economic and Maths to life by using current, accessible examples and ideas to really engage with my students, always learning my students interests and hobbies and embodying these into examples and explanations to personalise each and every topic and lesson.

Whilst I focus on examination practice to achieve the highest results - I am very hands-on and always take the extra step, having helped numerous A-level students with interview practice and UCAS applications to university. Furthermore I enjoy really motivating my tutees to reach and achieve higher by setting tangible goals and focussing them on their future studies/careers- Helping with CV building, work experience applications and even using my professional network to take curious career-seeking tutees with me to city trading floors, courtroom trials, parliamentary debates and university campuses.

Availability: Weekdays 7pm+
Weekends 9am - 6pm
